Most of my work was a result of necessity, like an empty space , a dark corner or a silent sculpture. I like making use of discarded objects. |

| The Midi Controller | |||
After 2 years of using ableton live as our performance tool; the lack of a simple midi controller got the best of me, and I set out to develop the ultimate midi controller. Most controllers on the market were cheaply made, using bad parts that didn't have the right feel. I collaborated with Gadi to boil down the bare essentials of mixing, and present it in a high quality, convenient package. The result was stunning. |

| Jadu Beta: A Sound Sculpture | |||
A collaboration between Wolf + Lamb & Saul Melman, Jadu Beta's sound sculpture was a audio diary embedded in a 200' inflatable sculpture installed in the Black Rock City desert at Burning Man in 2004. Using NI Reaktor I wrote an application that utilized an octophonic sound space which fused 2 random parts of Lamb's musical score and snippets of live recording done during the duration of construction providing visitors with a penetrating look into the work and art hidden within. |

| Silent Melodies | |||
A wall of melodies, each with their often hauntingly bizarre lyrics written from bottom up arranged on a raised frame lightly backlit. A piano roll is the media used to operate the player piano or pianola, band/fairground organs, calliopes and hand-cranked organs. |

| Asterisks | |||
A star shaped chandelier made out of 2 sides of the same 35 mm film rewinding reel. Keeping it as simple as possible, I used the suspension cable and the steel wheel as the common side, leaving the hot wires as the only additional material. Simple exit sign tube bulbs with long filaments seem to give it a 1940's test tube feel.

| The Tabernacle | |||
Based on Marcy Rye's Aletheic, which used a grid of 64 LEDS, Tabernacle uses a grid of 256 LEDs, daisy-chained off of four MAX7219 LED driver chips, a sonar sensor to detect the approach of passersby, and a Basic Stamp microchip. |
